SUSTAINABLE TUESDAY DINING EVENTS SPONSORED BY THE SIERRA CLUB
Remember how much fun you had at Sustainable Table 2008? We are excited to announce a series of Sustainable Tuesday dining opportunities in downtown Columbus, Indiana. Please try to dine with us each Tuesday and bring some friends and family. Let's prove to the restaurants how much we desire locally grown food by coming out to eat at each of these events!
Chef Daniel Orr’s Farm-Outlet - Tuesday September 16, 11AM-1PM, 413 Seventh Street (up the stairs to suite 5) in Columbus. Lunch sampling of Bloomington Farmer’s Market: Gazpacho with Harrison Lake Herbs, Local Cucumber Salad with Homegrown Garlic, Mint and Chilies, and Max Lemley’s Sauces.
Tre Bicchieri - Tuesday, September 23, 4-9PM, 425 Washington Street. Dinner of Pork Chop (bone-in) on Potato Gratin with Apple Butter Gastrique and Local Greens, Vegetable Pasta in Boursin Cheese Pesto Cream Sauce.
Powerhouse Brewing Company’s Columbus Bar (CB) - Tuesday, September 30, 322 Fourth Street - Sustainable Smoked Pork Chops from St. Paul, IN; Always on tap, a wonderful selection of seasonal Indiana Microbrew Beer (including their own specialty Columbus Common Ale and Wine).
Smith’s Row - Tuesday, October 7, 4:30-9:30 PM, 418 Fourth St. - Specialty Entrée: Pulled Pork Tenderloin with Apple Chutney, Glazed Acorn Squash, Soup of the day: Potato Soup, Dessert: Pumpkin Bar, Specialty Drink: Spiced Mulled Wine.
